Mjolnir Welded Stainless Steel Thor’s Hammer replica

This is a welded steel replica of Mjolnir… Thor’s Hammer.  I make each one by hand, welding more than 30 separate pieces of steel together.  Then I meticulously grind and sand each edge and corner.

The Celtic knot designs are etched into the ends of the hammer, just as the runes are etched into the round end pieces.

The handle is welded to the hammer.  I shape and install the rings on the handle, between the leather covered sleeves.  Finally the pommel is added, with the leather strap.  The hammers measure around 6″ x 9″ x 19″, and they weigh around 24lbs (any heavier and they become difficult to handle comfortably).

You can spend $40 to $400 on a plastic, or resin, or cast zinc replica of Mjolnir, that is mediocre at best, and know that thousands of people have the same one.

You can own a one of a kind, heavy, handmade, welded stainless steel replica that will be the envy of everyone who sees it.  This is over 30 separate pieces of stainless steel welded together, with the celtic knot design etched into the ends, and the runes etched into the round end cap.  The steel handle is welded to the body of the hammer, and is covered in actual leather.  The strap is real leather, and is replaceable in case someone (not you of course) tries to swing it around by the strap.

This is not a toy, but an actual replica of Mjolnir. They weigh around 24/25 lbs, although I do have one on hand that weighs around 15 lbs… it’s much easier to handle for cosplay… 24 lbs is too much to hold out for very long.

The hammer head is about 6″ x 6″ x 9″.  The handle is about 18″/19″ long; is welded to the hammer head at both ends, and there is about 12″/13″ of handle sticking out.

Each is handmade from start to finish. From order to shipping can take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks…

I have made many of these at this point. Most have been made from mild steel, and since mild steel will rust, I have to add a clear coat to keep that rust at bay. Wile I have not had ANY complaints from customers, I have found that the clear coat is relatively easily scratched. It is also easily repaired… sanding with 400 grit sandpaper and re-apply the clear coat.

Now I’ve made a few from stainless steel, and I am very happy with the results. So much so that I am only making stainless steel Mjolnir from now on. Stainless steel cost quite a bit more than mild steel, and is also more difficult to work, so I have to charge more. And I’m sure you will be happy with the result!

Ships free to the lower 48, and if you are close enough I will just deliver it (or meet part way).

Please message me if you have any questions.
